These Terms of Service will govern your access to and use of the Fit Together website, mobile app, and related services (together, the "Service"). By joining our waitlist, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you'll be agreeing to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.
The Service is intended for adults only. By using the Service, you'll be representing that you meet the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction, that you've never been convicted of a felony or required to register as a sex offender, and that you'll use the Service in accordance with these terms and all applicable laws.
You keep ownership of every photo and video you upload. By posting content to Fit Together, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, and display it within the Service so other members can see it. For workout videos specifically, once approved through our standard review process, this license also lets us feature that video on our public website — including the homepage — to showcase real community activity to visitors who haven't joined yet. Photos and everything else you share remain visible only inside the app, to other members, per your account's visibility settings. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where it's needed briefly for safety, legal, or backup purposes, or has already been shown to others.
Fit Together is designed to help members find compatible fitness partners, activity companions, and — where selected — romantic connections. You choose your intent (Fitness Partner, Dating, or Both) and can change it at any time. Any in-person meetup arranged through the Service is between members; Fit Together doesn't supervise, and can't guarantee the conduct, identity claims, or safety of any member.
We strongly encourage meeting for the first time at a public, populated activity location — a staffed gym, park, court, trail, or studio — and never sharing your exact home address with a new connection.
Location features, including Active Now check-ins, are opt-in. You control the duration and visibility of each check-in. Check-ins are designed to expire automatically. Using location features to stalk, harass, or track another person is prohibited and will result in account action.

Every profile, check-in, and conversation includes block and report tools. We plan to review reports and use a combination of automated signals and human moderation to enforce these terms. We may warn, suspend, or permanently remove any account that violates these terms, at our discretion, and may remove content that violates our guidelines.
Fit Together intends to offer a free tier and an optional paid subscription, Fit Together+, with expanded features. Pricing shown on our website prior to launch — including any founding-member rate — is a planning assumption and will be confirmed, along with billing, renewal, and cancellation terms, before the subscription is offered for sale.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, present a safety risk, or as required by law. Some information may be retained after deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service will be provided "as is." Fit Together does not perform criminal background checks on members beyond identity/selfie verification, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any member's claims, the outcome of any match, or the safety of any in-person meeting. You're responsible for exercising good judgment when interacting with, and meeting, other members.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fit Together will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including interactions with other members. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
As Fit Together moves from planning to launch, these terms will be reviewed by qualified counsel and updated to reflect our actual practices, applicable law, and app-store requirements. We'll notify users of material changes before they take effect.
